William K. Luby
Managing Member and Owner of Two River Capital
William K. Luby (“Bill”) is the founder and managing principal of Two River Capital, a private investment firm dedicated to long-term wealth preservation, strategic growth, and philanthropic initiatives for the Luby family. With a robust background in private equity, Bill brings over 30 years of experience in identifying, acquiring, and growing high-potential businesses across various sectors.
Bill co-founded Seaport Capital in 1997, where he expertise in sourcing, evaluating, and managing middle-market investments primarily in communications, business services, information services, and media. Known for his strong track record, he excels at driving value creation through strategic growth, operational enhancements, and capital structuring.
As the head of Two River Capital, Bill leverages his investment acumen and entrepreneurial mindset to oversee the family’s diverse portfolio, which includes public and private equity, real estate and alternative investments. The firm’s strategy blends growth-oriented investments with a focus on stewardship, ensuring the long-term legacy of the family.
Before founding Seaport Capital, Bill was a Managing Director at Chase Capital, the private equity division of Chase Manhattan Bank from 1991 to 1996. Prior to that, Bill served as a Managing Director in the leveraged finance group at Chase Manhattan, where he gained extensive experience in deal execution, financial modeling, and due diligence for high-growth businesses.
Bill earned an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business (1985) and a BA in Economics from Trinity College (1981). His deep understanding of both financial and operational aspects of private equity allows him to effectively partner with portfolio companies to drive long-term success.
Outside of his professional pursuits, Bill is passionate about golf, skiing and spending time with his four grown children. The Luby family is also dedicated to supporting a variety of charitable causes that align with their philanthropic goals.
Stacy Troiano
CFO of Two River Capital
Stacy Troiano is the Chief Financial Officer at Two River Capital, a single-family private equity office dedicated to preserving and growing the wealth and legacy of the Luby family. In this role, Stacy is responsible for overseeing the financial strategy, reporting, accounting and operations of the family’s diverse portfolio, which includes private equity investments, real estate, and other alternative assets.
With a strong background in financial management, and private equity, Stacy brings extensive experience in accounting, tax, financial planning and analysis, and corporate governance. She works closely with Bill Luby to ensure effective decision-making and operational efficiency across all aspects of the family office. Additionally, Stacy plays a critical role in coordinating day-to-day operations, strategic initiatives, and communication across internal and external stakeholders.
Before joining Two River Capital, Stacy held Controller roles at LCatterton and Seaport Capital, where she developed expertise in accounting operations, tax compliance, administration, and financial audits for private equity management companies and investment funds. Prior to that Stacy served as an Accounting Manager at Blackstone and began her career as a CPA with Ernst & Young, where she was a Senior Accountant in their Asset Management group.
Stacy holds a BS in Accounting from Binghamton University (2000) and is CPA certified. Known for her organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving abilities, Stacy plays a vital role in safeguarding the family’s financial interests and ensuring the integrity of its operations.
Outside of work, Stacy enjoys skiing and tennis, spending time with her family, and is actively involved in her local Boys Team Charity non-profit chapter.
